The pre-election is heating up.
AS pre-election activities begin to heat up it was interesting to hear the variety of opinions of those living in the town and the changes they want to see from the successful candidate.
I think the main needs that have been stressed by individuals, business owners and groups in the town is that more equality and support needs to be expressed by the new electorate.
The town has been through a stressful six months and people clearly want to see the electorate get right behind Cockermouth and its people so that it can once again thrive in business, culture and arts.
