CUMBRIAN children danced their socks off after having a masterclass in jazz.
Youngsters from the Maria Francis School of Dance were at Cockermouth Leisure Centre where guest teacher Wade Lewin, from the Millennium Performing Arts School in London, ran a jazz workshop.
He followed the workshop on Friday with a performance.
Maria Pattinson, a teacher at the school, said: “We had children from all over Cumbria attending.
“We had a great big workshop where children danced to ballet, jazz, contemporary tap. They had a taste of what it is like if they want to continue dancing later in life. We had about 50 children being taught by the guest teacher.”
